Rude staff, place is operated like a prison ran by uncultured children. Figured city taxes went to "Sterling Rec Center". But yet their basket ball court is a prison cell with a hoop.
Great place to take a shower and relax.
It’s insane that a person has to pay full price, while wearing street clothes, to watch their 6 year old swim. The reasoning is even crazier “One person ruined it for everyone, sorry.” Thinking outside the box but maybe a wristband could alleviate the burden that “One person” placed upon the rest of us to bare .
Highlights - great people work here and I love this place My wife and I were on a horrible work road trip for work and the weather forced us to stay in Sterling. Since the stop was unplanned we decided on a budget motel without a gym. I wanted a quick workout before the motel so we went to Sterling Rec. They didn’t make me feel weird about not being a resident and got me hooked up with a day pass ASAP. I had used my wife’s wallet to pay but I left her wallet there when I left.
