Nice places however, the water company they’re using sucks. They will not send you your bill regularly, and when the bill is sent, the water will already be cut off. There is no reason an apartment water bill should be $320 for a single person. I’m fed up with this company called universal utilities and I wish I had read all of the other reviews before moving into this place. They’re overpricing for water and when I called to figure this out, no one answers there phone. Please read the reviews before moving here.

I’ve been here for two years. There is one horrible part about this complex I’m not sure the owner knows or cares to deal with- the water company. Universal utilities has the worst reputation, prices, reviews and customer service. $191 for 2 months of water and I’m a single guy that takes 5 minute showers. Nothings leaking.. they just simply take advantage of you. The leasing office is very helpful. Maintenance is amazing. John and Ryan are always helpful and friendly. Apartment is great but with some defects I’ll list later.This complex is safe and nearby a lot of cool spots for eating and getting around metro Detroit. However there are some weird aspects with apartment that may be relatable to other apartments in complex. 1. The sound proofing is terrible. This place uses a company called Universal utilities for water and your charged a $75 water bill every month! And they’re so quick to cut off your service!! This is such a scam. I don’t use nearly anywhere near $75 a month of water. You think your getting a good rent deal but once the water and utilities is factored in, it isn’t as low as you think!!

I booked an appointment for an apartment viewing. When I got there, Jhane seemed very flustered and was really rushing it. I was made to feel like I was bothering her while she was working. When I asked about the crime rate in the area she stated she wasn’t allowed to answer that question.
