I am a resident of Ascent at Mallard Creek in Charlotte, NC and haven't had air conditioning for 5 days. The apartment complex is unable, unwilling, or unqualified to repair the issue. Trying to contact Sterling just gets a voicemail. (shocked face) I don't think there is an honest, legitimate property management company in existence and this one is no different. Spend your money elsewhere.
This management company has been incredibly unprofessional. I was supposed to receive a refund check for the prorated portion of my rent after moving out of one of their properties in Madison, AL, and have yet to receive the check—or even a single update. The apartment complex, Elements of Madison, claims they’ve reached out to the accounting department multiple times with no response. Live at The Sterling down at Stop 11 and Madison in Southport. Just signed a new year lease and want out already. Have been here 3yrs. They are blaming my 82yr old mother and I for the roaches and are trying to charge us $400 for terminix to come in and bomb. How much will it take to break the lease?
