I would strongly recommend not dealing with Stirling Electric for any electrical work. I contracted Stirling Electric in Sept 2023 to install a new 200 amp electric panel. Included in the invoice was a Hydro Quebec permit to upgrade the Hydro Quebec connection to accommodate the the 200 amp panel. The work went well and the panel was installed. In October 2023 I contacted Stirling Electric to find out status on the Hydro Quebec permit and when I can expect the Hydro connection to be completed. Stirling Electric did not answe... read more

Hired Sterling Electric, I’m super happy with the work the guys did. They were very professional and knowledgeable! If you’re looking for a great team that you can trust I would recommend Sterling Electric!

Pros: - Friendly crew - No cost overruns Cons: - Forgot to install the bathroom fan quoted in the price. Had to remind the owner that this was part of the scope of work. He refunded us for the fan (wouldn't come back to fix it), which is OK, but now we don't have a proper bathroom fan. - The rewired doorbell stopped working within a month. Owner denied that they rewired the doorbell and stopped answering texts of calls. Never got that resolved. - Owner estimated they would need to drill 50 holes to rewire. We had our electrical mast fallen following damage caused by the most recent ice storm. Sterling was extremely responsive and professional in resolving our issue. They were able to make themselves available promptly, kept us up to date and even co ordinated with Hydro Quebec to have our power reconnected. Will definitely be using their services again. Thank you so much for working so hard and for making yourselves available for this emergency despite the fact that it was a holiday (Easter Monday).
