When on Medicare, keep a close eye on billing. I have had a lot of billing errors, and have had to pay bloodwork before it went to collections. Billing for bloodwork was repeatedly sent in wrong. Billing for my checkup/ physical was sent in wrong, Medicare refused to pay because of this. I contacted Medicare on both issues, they said both charges that were refused by Medicare are covered benefits, and only were refused because the bills were submitted incorrectly.
