Outstanding. I recently had my McIntosh amp and preamp serviced by the stereo shop. I would very highly recommend them to everyone.

High quality equipment at all price levels. Experts in the field. And repairs on premises EDIT -7yrs later The stereo shop appears to finally be doing a lot of updating an improving their presentations. Adding Klipsch and VPI to the list of equipment is a fantastic change. The new website looks great, modernized updated and it's nice and clean and easy to navigate.
What an amazing store! Special thanks to Rick. He gave me a tour of the store and let me listen to some high-end sound systems. I also found a receiver I was looking for and walked out with a Father's Day present for my old man. Highly recommend. A+++++
Both wonderfully amazed and surprised to find this jewel of a Stereo Shop in the center of Connecticut! One of my turntables broke, and the manufacturer suggested a place next to Park Avenue in Manhattan, and as I had business an hour away from Hartford, I made the pilgrimage!
