I am deeply saddened with how i was treated while reaching out to this place for help, i am currently 6 months pregnant and staying with my childs father and mom and facing homelessness with having to leave from here in just days. I would give a zero rating . I called and explained that I was homeless and freezing. I am also a diabetic . I was told they were not sheltering anyone. Then she said she could have me put in a homeless shelter in Danville or Roanoke. That's hours from me. How would I get there? Makes no sense .

If I could give no stars. I would. I lost my home in a house fire a week ago and I was referred to STEPs for possible housing. They told me there was nothing they could do for me, even though I have no real place to stay. I am flabbergasted and disgusted by this. Whats even the point of this company existing if they don't help the people who need it??
