I am writing to formally report STEPS IN APOPKA ] for systemic misconduct and unethical treatment of residents. During my time at this facility, I witnessed and experienced several grave violations of professional standards, including: Professional Malpractice: The facility manager, Jeannette, explicitly stated to multiple residents that she "does not care about patient relapse" as it ensures "job security." My daughter is a dual diagnosis. She was there 15 days and then something went wrong and she wanted to come back home. She went back to try again and on the second day she contacted me and said they were forcing her to leave for leaving to get a energy drink from the store. When she became upset and didn't want to leave, they threatened to have the police come and take her away for raising her voice. If you have the choice to go anywhere else i would suggest you do, they are rude do nothing for you promise you things that never happen, they will have you apply for food stamps and then take them, if you are truly seeking help the way that this place is ran is disgusting and it gives great info as to whey the relapse rate for drugs it terrible because you have people like this who are pretending to help but treat you as though less than human, people might be a drug addict but they do not deserve the attack on their dignit... read more
