I found stepping stone about 6 years ago and Dr. Laura helped me through one of the most heartbreaking days of my life by offering her compassionate services. She handled everything for us and gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes. My sweet Lola slowly went to sleep peacefully and painlessly. Absolutely cannot imagine having to euthanize my pet any other way than at home. It’s already such a difficult and heartbreaking decision. Stepping Stone made the whole experience bearable. Veterinarian was very respectful and made herself minimally noticeable. She talked us through each step as it happened, gave us all the time we needed before the final moments, and gave us all the space we needed to grieve. Last year my precious baby ended up needing help crossing over the rainbow bridge. After being told by our primary vet that we couldn’t be there with him as he passed, we were recommended to stepping stones. They were able to come to our home, which i didn’t even know was a thing, and we were able to be with Titus for ever step. I can’t express the gratitude I have for Dr. Chennault. It was very difficult to make this decision and I’m glad that she offers the service to come to our home. She was very professional and empathic to our family. She showed she cared for my Lexie while she was here and after. Thank you for making Lexie’s last moments as comfortable as possible.
