If I could give one star I would! The place needs shutting down! Absolutely disgraceful having people in agony in a&e for 10-12 hours with out offering any pain relief! Some of the staff in minors have horrible attitudes after overhearing a conversation with two of them about there lunch breaks and one had said are they going to die if you don’t do that now and she responded no and she replied well take you’re break, id like to point out this patient was screaming in pain!

I knew the NHS was having problems but my recent visit to Stepping Hill A&E was an eye opener. After over a 2 hour wait for an ambulance I was booked in to reception and then was at the mercy of the system. There must gave been over 100 people waiting many of them had been there for a long time. I arrived at 20.30 and was promised pain relief on arrival. Despite asking 5 nurses over a number of hours I didn't receive any until after 1.00 (next day!). I was eventually seen but did not get out until just before 06.00 next day.... read more
