Stepping Forward has been a tremendous support for our teenage son and our family. We are so grateful for the exceptionally caring and professional staff for making such a difference in his life. The people at Stepping Forward truly care about him and our family. They not only navigated our son through a difficult season but also set him up with coping and life skills for his future. There are not enough words to fully express how thankful we are for the amazing team and programs at Stepping Forward Chatham.
I originally was just going to leave a 1 star rating with no written review, until I was asked to take it down. I want to preface this by saying SFCC can help children, but it’s not a one size fits all program. For school refusal in particular, it is unhelpful. For most of the time i was there, I was undiagnosed with autism, which led to some unfortunate situations where i was treated rudely by staff.
