SFCC was a transformative experience for my child. Stepping Forward is the most amazing place!!!!!! My 8 year old entered the PHP program with a broken and tattered spirit. And to be honest, I was tired and broken too. My daughter had been in private therapy for 4 years, we went from in district to an out of district program and my daughter kept tanking, with each year getting worse and worse. Stepping Forward has an incredibly compassionate team that has taken care of my child for a few years now. Their summer camp is equipped with dedicated, qualified counselors and special programming for children who have additional needs, which most summer camps don't have. My child has thrived in both their summer camp and after-school program. We can see how much the staff genuinely care and work to help our child. Not what it seems. This program may have many success stories but mine unfortunately was not one of them. Matter of fact it was damaging. Please look carefully at this program before you commit. Ask questions and delve in if this is the correct fit on all levels. Please look at the “qualifications” of the people that will be helping your children. Please look at history of ownership.
