Do not recommend. Extremely rude and has 0 beside manner. Absolutely the only reasoning in the man having openings to get you in so quickly would be because most doctors when you are referred they make sure you know he's extremely well mannered!!! Do not recommend again.
My general practitioner referred me for an upper and lower endoscopy. When I went for my initial appointment, the nurse practitioner said that Dr. Fry does not do both at the same time "because he only would get paid for one procedure." While I appreciate the transparency, this is not good patient care. I am a health services researcher and am horrified by this as a policy. The implication is that the patient has to have two non-zero risk procedures, two non-zero risk anesthesias, take off work twice, and pay two cost-shares... read more

Prior to the experience I am sharing here, I was a patient of Dr. Fry, and after having moved from the TriCities for my job for a year or so, I came back to TriCities to retire. During my time away from the area I saw another GI Dr. As he was close to where I lived and I simply needed a checkup. Upon returning to this area, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Fry’s office in Elizabethton.
