I also had a terrible experiance. It started with his helper jabbing my face with the xray device holder, then, about an hour of him beating up my face to perfome the root canal. he didn't explain anything, and hurt me multiple times. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.
My experience here was wonderful. Excellent place to go to. The staff, Dr., and everyone working there is so friendly and kind. They all made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The Doctor does great work. I didn't have to wait long for either of my appointments and didn't wait long in the waiting area either. The root canal was completely painless and fast! I highly recommend this place to everyone. I had the best experience, and the office is very professional.
Just had my second root canal from Dr. Shpeen. He is fast, efficient and an excellent dentist. The staff was extremely pleasant, friendly and informative. I felt VERY comfortable in his capable hands. He came highly recommended by my general dentist and I can see why !!!
Dr. Schpeen has poor bedside manner. He is cold and demeaning, hardly describing procedures due to the fact that "you wouldn't know what I'm talking about." It seems like he treats some patients differently as there are some positive reviews which blows my mind (difficult to tell if it has to do with insurance, tooth problem, idk). He left a file in one of my root canals and failed to mention it to me....this can be a source of infection. Only make an appt if he is your only option.
I have been here twice now--once for a consultation and again for a root canal and have never had such an unprofessional experience. He comes and in and doesn't say ANYTHING. No "hello" or anything, which is unprofessional and rude. Then he lowers the chair down with no warning, which was startling, as I was sitting up. He argued with me at the consult about a tooth I had a root canal on 25+ years ago, asking why a crown and post but no root canal. Very bizarre experience.
I have never been so upset with a practice before. I am not one to complain because I work in the health field and I understand things happen. The service from the front desk all the way to the doctor was absolutely upsetting and rude. They are all rude and the doctor rudely asks me "why are you here" well I was referred to you by my dentist. He was not even interested in letting me explain. I am a paying patient!! Therefore, I will not continue to pay my money to such a rude service.
This was my third attempt to get a root canal. My first time seeing this one.I ,am one of those pts that does not get totally numb. I thought he was aware of this.He did nothing different from the dental office I went to prior to coming to his office.He kept asking if I was numb and I replied no after 3 to 4 needles. What made me very upset to the point of crying is the lack of empathy to my situation.
