Had total knee replaced, when I went for check up my knee was fevered and red and crooked implant. When I told him it looks crooked, he said "yes I see that" and I said it's red and fevered he said "yes I see that". Gave me pain pills and said call me if you need me and sent me home. Had my primary Dr check my leg and he sent me immediately for a scan. My leg and lungs were full of blood clots. I was admitted to hospital and put on blood thinners that I'm still on today. Will not help with post op pain more than 7 days. Be warned.
Rudest person i have met. Didn't fix anything wrong with me was only in office for 10mins and said I was done. I have a fracture that he refused to fix or do anything about now I am searching for new dr who will help me.
Dr Alatis was very attentive to my concerns and immediately got me on the right path for my healing. He referred me to someone else who specializes in my specific need but if I ever needed treated for something in his area of expertise I wouldn't hesitate to go to him as my first choice. A doctor who listens gives the patient a special kind of relief.
