At age 70 I knew it was time for the eventual, and after checking with two other surgeons, chose Dr. Raterman and had two anterior hip replacements two months apart. Now, two years later I couldn't be happier. It takes continual work, but my mobility is now at the "age 30 or 35" level, and zero pain. My poor posture is eliminated, leg length discrepancies solved, and even family has asked if I was in a late life growth spurt. No, just found a competent surgeon! Six Stars! Thank you!!

I had a hip resurfacing 2.5 years ago. I was left with extensive nerve damage and now qualify as handicapped. I have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars in rehabilitation. The practice made multiple mistakes from scheduling surgery to writing a correct prescription for pain killers. It took 12 calls over 3 weeks to get enough pain killers to deal with the nerve damage.
