Dr Pereira and his surgical team are exceptional and a special thanks to his office manager Jessica, who was patient and most accomodating. She was always reachable, sympathetic, and worked hard in scheduling my gallbladder surgery. Extremely accomodating, friendly and a real asset to his office. Dr Pereira is a very talented sought after surgeon and his team is top notch! Highly recommend

"I needed surgery for an inguinal hernia. My wife's Doctor out of Hackensack Hospital referred Dr. Stephen Pereira. Unfortunately today, the administrative offices of Doctors do not provide good service. However, Dr. Pereira's office is the exception. They are EXCELLENT! Dr. Stephen Pereira did my 10-hour surgery to remove a tumor the size of a grapefruit. This gentleman deserves the utmost praise and respect for not only having the skills of a top surgeon with cutting edge technology, but with the bedside manner of a saint. It's people like him with gifts and humility that make the world a better place. He made me feel like a brother and family.
First off I read reviews on what a great surgeon when speaking of Dr. Pereira. I was impressed so I made an appointment for what I thought was a hernia. I had to wait 5 weeks for the appointment, since he only sees patients on Mondays. On the day of the appointment I was in the waiting room for 25 minutes. It was determined by the doctor that I would need a CAT scan. I had it done the very next day and received results as did the doctor.
