I had an excellent first visit with Dr. Vampola. He was thorough, attentive, and well prepared. He carefully reviewed my medical history, imaging, and laboratory results, listened to all of my concerns, and explained the rationale behind his recommendations. I appreciated that he took the time to discuss my elevated Lp(a), possible statin-related muscle symptoms, and the available treatment options in a thoughtful, evidence-based manner. I left the appointment feeling informed and confident about the plan moving forward.
Dr. Vampola has been thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful with my cardiac issues. He listens and explains things well. I am thankful to have found him and UCLAHealth (which is also very easy to work with.) Office staff is also professional, polite, and responsive. -ES
