Very pushing towards birth control. I wanted my implant taken out and he told me i’d be back in his office pregnant soon after. Felt very offended, up until this point he was very polite and didn’t say much but i did not enjoy my recent visit with him and probably will not be returning. Took care of me for both my high-risk pregnancies. Both were carried to term and healthy babies.
I just had my first child. Originally, I had another obstetrician. With her, visits were always short. She made little time for my questions and dropped me as a client right after my 2nd trimester because she didn’t cover my insurance anymore. I spent weeks calling doctors and hospitals, trying to find a doctor who would take me as a patient. I knew I couldn’t go without a doctor my entire 3rd trimester; all we could do was pray. Just had a hysterectomy, Dr. Lebder was amazing from beginning to end. He let me know i was young and to really think about this decision but after letting him know how miserable I was from bleeding nonstop since my fibroids and how I just never wanted to leave the house as I'm on my cycle every day. He did voice his opinion and wanted to remove fibroids but said they can grow back. I didn't like the fact them growing back. The support he gave me for making this hard decision was amazing.
