I've had great experience with Stephen as my accountant the past two years. He helped me work through transitioning my business from Virginia to CA, prepares all my tax forms, was extremely patient, and generally communicates quickly. When I had any issues he would do his best to respond rectify it. He has helped me save money, feel confident that my returns are taken care of well, and I highly recommend him for your business or personal tax needs.
Had a terrible experience with this group. They screwed up federal and state tax filings, which resulted in years of problems, and then first demanded more fees to fix their own mistakes, and then simply ghosted. Completely unethical. Find some other accountant...any other accountant.
Stay AWAY! This group is unprofessional and incompetent, refuses to correct errors they make on tax filings, and tries to charge customers additional fees to fix their own mistakes. Absolute racket. It has been years since I used them to file personal taxes *just once,* and I am still trying to clean up the mess, after incurring thousands of dollars in penalties for their screwups. Stephen does not care, and sees his screwup only as a chance to try and extract more fees. Completely unethical.
Stephen is a Godsend! I was introduced to Stephen last year and I feel so lucky to have found a knowledgeable, caring, and very accessible (I love the calendal and ability to easily make appointments) accountant. He's thorough, doesn't rush, reviews the pros and cons with you and is always available to answer any questions.
