During my C-section, he made an additional incision without telling even though I was awake. He did not tell me after the surgery and did not tell me at my follow up appointment weeks later. This completely impacted my ability to labor for all future pregnancies. He made a decision without asking or telling me. Dr. Carter was rude and harsh. The pelvic exam was painful and rushed, making it seem like he did not care about his patients at all. When I told him about my symptoms, he shrugged them off like they didn't matter, and made a snarky reply. Honestly, I am shocked by the lack of professionalism. It is a shame that the kind receptionists and nurses have to deal with him. Not recommended!!
I’ve been seeing Dr Carter for over 15 years. He explains things thoroughly, is pleasant and professional. He has performed two surgeries on me and both have turned out fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone.
I'm a new patient and i couldn't ask for a better doctor. I've been seeing obgyn's for years and he helped me right away and fix the problem
First, Dr. Carter is an exceptional doctor. I had bad experiences with paps in the past with pain and discomfort but I only felt the pressure from the clamps with Dr. Carter. He delivered my first child and I'm now seeing him with my second pregnancy and I wouldn't have gone to anyone else. I don't need a doctor who will beat around the bush. Dr. Carter tells it to you straight and is incredibly kind. And I love his staff!
Dr. Carter was one of the meanest doctors I've ever seen in my life, both verbally and physically. Pelvic exam was painful. He didn't listen to a word I was saying and asked the same questions over and over. The office is old, dingy and the carpet filthy. I will never go back there. I would NOT RECOMMEND Dr. Carter.
