I have been seeing Dr. Kovacs for over 20 years and since retiring and moving over 100 miles away, I still drive 2 hours each way to receive his expert care. Over the years, he has detected and removed numerous pre-cancerous skin lesions and moles before they became a serious problem. His surgical skills are second to none, and his staff is excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Kovacs practice for all dermatological needs.
Dr. Kovacs is excellent and skillful. He and his staff are very patient, professional and happy to answer questions. I had two Mohs surgeries, and I was very happy with both. The first surgery healed well with no prominent scarring – the second one is still in the process of healing and looks good. Julie is a big help. I would recommend Dr. Kovacs for Mohs surgery. Also, I like that a person answers the phone – no multi-option menu. I’m glad I went to Dr. Kovacs.

Dr. Stephen O. Kovacs is a skillful and experienced surgeon. My parents have been his patients (skin cancer) for over 20 year. They highly value his skills and professionalism.
I recently saw Dr. Kovacs for two surgeries on two separate dates. Everything about my experience was excellent. Between his professionalism and expertise I felt very confident in receiving a great outcome. In addition, his staff are also wonderful. The ease of making appointments and almost no waiting time is almost unheard of in today’s health care environment. I highly recommend Dr.Kovacs and his staff.
Dr. Kovacs was very knowledgeable and had great expertise in removing my cancerous growth, and then expertly covered up the wound from the surgery. He was very friendly, as was his staff, and I feel fortunate to have had such a good doctor for this procedure.
Dr Kovacs and staff are the best, and the results prove it! Upon arrival and until to leave you the staff are awesome! I highly recommend Dr Kovacs for your mohs surgery.
