I got diagnosed with crohn's disease and was hospitalized losing 50% of my body weight. About three months later I developed pain in my lower abdomen and called his office repeatedly for 3 weeks. When I finally got an appointment with a nurse practitioner I had 2 huge abscesses. I had to immediately go get an MRI and had surgery to drain the pus. I was in hospitalized for another week. Dave and Jami flagel which was a drag on my need to not take list which made me extremely sick

Dr. Schutz and his staff were great at explaining what they were going to do, how I would feel, and made me feel as comfortable as possible before and after the procedure.

Dr.Schutz took his time with me to discuss my condition, although not serious. He went over dietary, healthy changes to make to improve my quality of life. While all doctors should do this, he did this compassionately and as if I was his only patient that day. He listened to me and put me at ease. And, because he took his time to discuss the reasons for his recommendations, I am following them as a good patient should and seeing positive results.
