Has tons of patients squeezed in back-to-back for surgeries. Barely answers questions and gets annoyed with you for asking. I had an incidental finding of a bile duct stone. They swore up and down that I needed to remove it. Got it removed and I’ve had GI issues ever since, never had them before. Very painful bloating after eating ever since this procedure. Very confused office. No one knows anything. I was told I needed an MRI before my televisit. Then I was told days later that I didn't need it. Then my appointment was cancelled without anyone telling me, until after I wasted an hour trying to connect. Phone call just went to voicemail and of course no one returned my call. Dr may be good, the staff is lost in the woods. I think this is a clue to look elsewhere. Reading reviews on here confirms it. 2 stars is generous, but seems to be the average.
I was referred to Dr. Steinberg for an endoscope with biopsy. He was very informative and caring at my 1st visit. He saw me in recovery and gave me some results but said the lab who reviews the biopsy is terribly backed up but he does NOT want me to think that means something is wrong. He stressed that point so I would not worry. Dr Steinberg was highly recommended by my other Dr's. I had a telehealth app today for 10:15 and his assistant called at 9:00 to see if the Dr could call me earlier. And he did 5 minutes after that.
The most unprofessional place ever my gf made an appointment for me last week for Wednesday at 11:15 in person they then called back a few hours later saying that it had to be over the phone because he was no longer going to be in off and then this morning they called her to push up my appointment from 12:15 ? Which it was never for to 11:45 and then call me saying that I don’t need to see him because he looked at my information from the emergency room and everything looks fine … absolutely trash and unprofessional to move s... read more
This is the worst medical office I’ve ever dealt with. It took them two weeks to return a call after I had a CT Scan. They never call you back. Dr Steinberg is no better for knowing how awful they are and doing nothing. Gutless. I will never use this Dr again. I would like to give them 0 stars.
