Dr. Shaffer was awesome, as usual. BUT the person that processed my granddaughter (height, weight, etc.) DID NOT represent Numours' high standards. She ignored me 90% of the time she was with us. She barely gave me any eye contact, and only spoke to the room--not me--when my 11 yr old granddaughter couldn't answer her questions, and only turned to acknowledge me when there was silence. Dr. Shaffer listens to the patients and their families and really cares.
It’s not often that I have faith in a doctor let alone feel confident and have trust in one. As an anxious mom of a teen who has now missed so much school from some mysterious nausea I was an anxious mess praying for any answer. Dr. Shaffer was so amazing and not only this I felt so confident in his diagnosis and treatment but he did also explain next steps if this wasn’t it.
