I want to share our experience with Dr. Harward while our son was a patient at Duke for almost six weeks. There were two other neurosurgeons who worked with Dr. Harward throughout the stay but the one Dr. who showed the most compassion and was consistently available to help was Dr. Harward. Dr. Harward operated on my spine after a bad fall and burst T12 vertebrae. He was most professional, caring and understanding. I have been recovering quickly, and feel like I was lucky to have him as my surgeon.
