Just booked mine in to get handbrake looked at as wasn't the best. They found it to be a sticky brake caliper and they cleaned and lubed and tested it stating it may need a new caliper if it gets weak again or it will be fine now it has been freed up and just asked me to keep an eye on it. I imagine they could have said it needed all sorts but they didn't and just did enough at minimum cost to sort it. It is now so much better and it cost next to nothing.
