I went to see Dr. Vanderveldt because I would lose my vision periodically, especially while driving in the rain and playing tennis. She never tested me for dry eye. She suggested surgery - a vitrectomy to remove a floater! Not only that, she failed to tell me that surgery would cause a cataract and I would need a second (2) surgery! A year later, AFTER 2 SURGERIES I was still losing my vision. I went to see Dr. Susanne Hewitt. She tested me for dry eye, found my eyes very dry, and wrote an RX to treat dry eye.
