Stephanie has been more than a caregiver- she has been a partner in my migraine journey. She has always listened with support and positivity that we are in this together and that my pain is not mine alone to bear. I’m almost always in pain, and 99% of the time I can be a grumpy and emotional old bear - but she has never judged me for it. It feels hopeful to know that even though I haven’t completed my journey yet, she will remain through it with me.
Stephanie was cold and looked at me with pity. I didn't feel respected or cared for. Her bedside manner is terrible and I will not get her again. She didn't say anything when I told her my symptoms.
Stephanie has been caring for my mom over the past year as we have navigated her memory loss, and the difficulties that go along with it. She has always spent a lot of time with us, answered all of our questions, and been really good with my mom.
I had an unpleasant experience with her on Thursday. I went to see her to follow-up for 2 TIA strokes. She lacked empathy and had no bedside manner and when I asked questions she went around the answers. I asked what was neurology for and instead of telling me what the next steps would be she acted as if she was confused or unsure of something.
