This provider was rude, dismissive, and lacked compassion. When I tried to discuss my medical history and concerns, she ignored what I was saying and made me feel judged instead of supported. I normally have positive experiences with GMBC as an organization, which makes it even more disappointing that providers like Stephanie Pollard are representing the practice. This experience has made me lose trust that when I go to GMBC, I will receive quality, dignified care.
This is my first review I’ve done (so it means a lot for me to do this). She is one of the most unpleasant and rudest doctors my husband and I have ever encountered. While, she is not my OB, I had recently been admitted at 29 weeks pregnant with kidney stones. She was the attending on the day I got discharged. Every time I tried to ask a question, I was cut off. I normally don't write reviews but I have to emphasize this was the worst care I have ever received from an OBGYN. It was rushed, she talked over me and interrupted me while expressing my concerns, brushed me off entirely, and pulled my IUD out with warning and threw it in the trash before I could see it to confirm it was out (a standard practice with doctors). I know of other people who have seen her and said she was equally as cold and uncaring, and I really discourage anyone from seeing her.
Great Doctor. Very thorough, compassionate and understanding. Had a horrible case of endometritis and she took care of me. She listened to my concerns, even though I was in a lot of pain, and treated me accordingly. I recommend her if your looking for an OB/GYN.
