Horrible experience considering my fiance was not given enough time to find new doctor, and was dropped from doctor Hawthorne's practice. Rude and disrespectful to younger generation with GI problems
Dr. Hawthorne is the doctor I have been looking for for years! She is respectful, listens patiently, giving as much time to you as you need. She explained the usual protocol for my disease, however was understanding that I did NOT wish to take harmful drugs or submit to painful procedures if not absolutely necessary. She is quite knowledgeable, but at the same time quite open minded about alternative approaches. I trust her. That's very hard to find these days, for sure!
Dr. Hawthorne was very comforting and patient with me. She knew what to do proceeduraly but also had time to hear all my concerns. That's hard to find these days.
