Today was my first appointment with Dr. Weaver. I was very pleased with our visit. She was very thorough and engaged in our conversation regarding my health issues.Very friendly and understanding. I am happy to have Dr. Stephanie Weaver as my new primary care physician.
I am no longer Dr. Weaver's patient. She has a nice bedside manner and is pleasant enough, but is not a very competent doctor. She's very lackadaisical about partnering with you in your healthcare, almost to the point of laziness, at least that was my experience. And I was frankly shocked that a doctor like her would be allowed to work at Northwestern. I often felt like she wasn't engaged with me as her patient, that she was kind of spaced out and out to lunch clinically. Just my 2 cents.
I followed Dr. Weaver to NM, because I trust her as my PCP. I've been her patient for almost 15 years, and I'm very confident in her care and expertise.
