Dr. Simmons is very personable and presents as caring. However, ability to get any questions answered outside of an appointment is a nightmare. Calls are not returned promptly and it takes numerous calls to get requested information. Also, obtaining prescriptions is a headache. They need a more organized office staff and more knowledge about managing prescriptions.
I have been a patient of Dr. Stephanie Simmons for the past six months, and my experience has been deeply disappointing due to the disorganized and non-communicative nature of her administrative staff. Things to know from a 24-year-old patient: If you need yearly check-ups with a tasteful level of detachment, this is your place. I've been here sporadically over the past 5 years, and have never experienced such a difficult time being seen or heard. It will take several months. Best experiences with Dr. Simmons. She's been my dr for 10+ years and never an issue and no complaints. I've been seeing her since before my pregnancy, all throughout my pregnancy and after. She also delivered my baby and was great. I was never nervous, I was completely confident in the care she provided and continues to provide me.
