This was my first time needing a lawyer, and it was a terrible experience. She was unreliable, hard to reach, and often canceled last minute, which cost me vacation days from work. Very Bad experience. I hired her for a divorce case and setup 4 different appointments that were all cancelled at last minute for various reasons and each time I had already left work on vacation time. I told her I wanted a refund and wasn’t going to use her anymore she proceeded to tell me she didn’t get that message because she forgot her phone so she said she worked on my case that day (lie) so after doing nothing for me she keep $1,000 of my money. My divorce was already filed etc should have been an easy case handed to her. She told me I didn't need representation I just needed a motion to file for mediation etc.. I wanted representation tho. Her reply was "I have no problem taking your money". $3k down. We met for mediation. She was on her phone I talked to opposing console on my own with very few exceptions thru.. she rescheduled numerous times due to illness.
