I was referred to Dr. Getz for surgery and she was awesome. Answered all of my questions, was extremely supportive of my surgical request, and afterward she said my surgery was textbook. She did a good job going over pre-op and post-op expectations and restrictions. It was clear she has a real passion for surgery. She was personable and chatty. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Dr. Getz. I saw her before, during and shortly after my pregnancy. During this time, she incorrectly charted conditions I reported to her on multiple occasions. She didn’t take notes during my appointments which I think was the cause of the incorrect notes in my chart. Sadly, the incorrect charting affected my care and I was denied a test that could have changed the monitoring during my pregnancy possibly saving my son’s life.
