I appreciate that Dr. Leblanc is comfortable in his role as a pediatrician and doesn't attempt to encroach on the parenting role. Part of what got me to leave our last pediatrician was a conversation she decided to have with my FOUR YEAR OLD about WHO CAN TOUCH HER PRIVATES (to me that encroaches on my role as parent -- I was NOT happy). With Dr. LeBlanc, I get the feeling he is more respectful of the role of parents and would not do that kind of thing. Also, while he like the majority of pediatricians recommends the full vaccine schedule, he has not hassled us about passing on some of them. He's very professional, down to earth, and easy to talk to. He even let me take a picture of him and my son with their stethoscopes (my son brought a pretend one)! You can find him on the Christian Medical and Dental Association (cmda.org) search list for Christian healthcare professionals. Also, so far for us, wait time has been no more than 90 seconds after we're checked in.
