I am a social worker currently getting my PsyD and had sessions with Dr.Diamond. I am a Black woman and Dr. Diamond had zero cultural competency and when I expressed my fears around Trump he stated “is this really want to focus your session on?” Do not recommend.
One of the most useless therapy sessions I've ever had the misfortune to have. After speaking on the phone, and then filling out a very thorough evaluation form, Dr. Diamond spent the entire session asking virtually the same questions as on the form -- which consisted of the MOST basic, "Psych. 101" questions imaginable. He completely ignored the fact that I'd had years of previous therapy, was psychologically aware and well-versed, and insisted on treating me as if I were completely unfamiliar with the therapeutic process. ... read more
