There are two things I'm not going to cover; number one is craftsmanship. Visit the website, and you can see the details and quality. Number two: Price. If cared for reasonably, her work can exist long after you are gone. When you consider it this way, price isn't a factor. I want future customers to know that I asked for a deeply unusual piece. We joke that Steph is the "family jeweller" for us - we've had such a pleasant time chatting with her when we're in Wellington, and each piece of jewellery we purchase is a work of exquisite art. Would recommend her studio for anyone looking for high quality work.
I was hiking in New Zealand a few years ago and passed this store, and ended up circling back to buy a necklace. I still wear it all of the time, and people are constantly asking me where I got it. Amazing work, amazing cat, what's not to like?
Steph is a talented jeweller. I commissioned her to recreate a piece of ancient jewellery from a photograph and she did a better job than I could have imagined - all her work has an ethereal quality and this piece was no exception. I highly recommend her.
I have bought a number of pieces from Steph Lusted over the year and she cannot be surpassed in her craftsmanship. Her pieces are always beautifully made and whenever I wear a piece, I always feel I am wearing something very unique and special. She is a true artist.
