Karen is MEAN...they belittle people and threaten them. They kicked me out in a week because they told me I was a "bad" person, food is terrible and they took my snap benefits and they weigh your portions of food. Don't go here run away, most people relapse after they have been traumatized there.

No, the staff will make up assignments or do activities to turn the clients against each other. For instance, there was a client who apparently other clients were talking negatively about her behind her back and it was nearly the entire house. They sat everyone down in a circle and one by one, each female went down the circle taking turns telling each other at least 1 negative thing about her. That was a required part of the program, and that is EMOTIONAL ABUSE. It's illegal but people get away with it because it's very diff... read more
