I have taking guitar lessons with Alex on and off for the last few years (off while I was pregnant and raising an infant during the height of COVID-19) and I will never want to find a different guitar teacher! Alex is AWESOME. I am not impressed by most people and I don't find most people very interesting but Alex is both impressive and interesting. Alex is a steller teacher: he is skilled at really simplifying the learning process with clear, step by step communication. It was incredibly helpful for me, a novice learning the upright bass for the first time. He is incredibly patient, offers actionable advice to help you overcome hurdles, and an awesome coach. Rarw to find an expert also skilled at teaching their craft --- Highly recommend!
My lessons with Alex have been excellent! I like that he has such a breadth of knowledge and experience to help with my growing musician/guitarist needs. Alex is patient, kind and encouraging. I'd highly recommend him for guitar as that's my experience, but he does lessons on other instruments too. I hope this helps you find your path or tone, cheers!
