Opposite the beach. Good meals, beer, spirits, cocktails and tapas. Historic pub and lovely owners. They always make us feel welcome and at home. Great staff Special mentions to Seema, Troy, Grace, Gail, Hayden, Amir and Hardi

Terrible atmosphere the local cemetery is more lively. Not even hells kitchen could save this place. Had a group of 5 and we all ordered parmas and regretted it instantly. Only one staff member on the floor and she had the personality of a pot plant. Waited at the "bar" for 10 minutes and couldn't even get a jug then watched her sort through the glasses for a clean one, 5 or 6 before she found one good enough. Popped in for lunch today and can honestly say I haven’t had worse fish and chips. The fish said flake on the menu, what I got was very oily, slimy fish that had blue skin and was nothing like flake. Chips were soggy, tartare sauce was the cheapest tasting with that fake mayonnaise in it and there was a big curly white hair in my meal. The beer wasn’t that cold and the line didn’t taste all that clean plus the table was sticky all over. Will never eat here again.

My wife, I came for a breakfast on Sunday morning I had eggs Benedict with smoked salmon that my wife had a beautiful fruit toast We both had a Chai and coffee A chef and waitress very friendly obliging and professional Excellent value Very tasty Which could be a bit more comfortable but we have tablecloths. Had a good experience overall.
