Got a weird vibe when we first walked in. Last day of school holidays and the place was like a ghost town. Floors and tables were sticky. Floors sounded and felt like they'd nefer been washed. Menus felt sticky and dirty. Menu options were a bit odd and raised red flags with multiple spelling mistakes. Ordered a round of drinks, our daughters glass was dirty. Left before ordering food and went elsewhere.
Great, old-fashioned, friendly service. Excellent understanding of coeliac celiac (gluten free) requirements, with plenty of options to choose from. Generous and tasty meals pub-style meals. Recommend the duck; it was delicious and a very generous portion size. The kids loved the good old frog-in-a-pond for desert. It’s in a great location, with the beach just across the road. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Location...great Service on a very quiet night...great Venue...great Food...average - terrible!! We ordered from the $20.00 menu, so I would hope that the full priced meals are better. It looked and tasted like the vegetables had been cooked and reheated way too many times, the potatoes were so tough that some of our group could not even chew them.
