Stellar Energy installed a faulty solar system. They are no longer in business to come out and repair it. Tom Wilkinson was their CEO. I suppose he starts a new company that installs bad/faulty products, then goes out of business and starts a new business. I'm reporting him and Stellar to the BBB and to the state electric board.

Solar panels installed. Monitoring doesn't work. On new installation they took 3 months to activate monitoring after following up for atleast 10 time. Then after reinstall following roof replacement, the monitoring is still down after 14 months. No one answers phone now. Emails went unanswered.

Stellar Energy Contractors designed and installed a complete solution to our A/C (/heat pump) needs for two bedrooms and a common area. The units run efficiently and quietly! Their installation team was creative in solving challenges that arose and would not "sign-off" until everything was working to our satisfaction. They were flexible in their scheduling (to accommodate our scheduling needs).

To be honest I am not happy that we worked with them. We spent about $10.000 for replacing our furnace and AC with Stellar and the first problem was when they finished the installation, they could not figure out how to setup the thermostat. We had to call them couple of times and not paying the whole money to them to force them come back and figure out how to set it up. Now, after about 18 months we have a little problem with the furnace so I called them a month ago and they told me that a tech will call me in couple of week... read more
