I was really excited to get my roots touched up at this salon, but I left feeling really disappointed. I’m very empathetic to feeling tired or exhausted, but that was not communicated to me in the beginning. I would’ve been more than happy to reschedule. Instead, I left with bright yellow and white, dry roots. It felt like my stylist had gotten exhausted and gave up halfway through my service. I had to go get my hair toned and treated elsewhere.

I had a perm and cut done a week ago today. The stylist unfortunately wrapped the perm rods too tight and may have mixed the perming solution wrong. When I was able to wash my hair, I ran my fingers through and noticed I had patchy bald spots all over. It was so bad that I went to someone for a consultation and had to end up getting a pixie cut. I really wanted to love this salon. I booked an appointment with Star, who came highly recommended by several people, so I was excited especially since finding a new nail tech after moving isn’t easy. I will give credit where it’s due: the acrylic application was well done, and the nail shape was perfect. Unfortunately, my experience fell short in other areas.
