Dr. Walvoord was AMAZING. I almost hugged her after leaving my appointment! Lol For the first time in a long time I realized there are still people in the medical field who do actually care! From the moment she walked into the room she was energetic and kind! She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all my questions! She also LISTENED! And addressed all of my concerns. She was honest and was a blessing to me yesterday. So glad I acted on this recommendation!
Dr. Walvoord is amazing. She shows genuine care and empathy. She acts as an advocate for you and your health. She is clearly brilliant. She takes the time to make you feel seen and heard. She acts like a partner instead of an authority. I can’t say enough good things.
I would not recommend this woman or this practice. I was 19 years old, suffering with what I now know to be Akathisia caused by hormones while pregnancy. I was told I had anxiety and was being paranoid. I came in crying because I was so uncomfortable and in so much distress, Stella, sat me down and told me girls like me that act this way, get sent to Marshall Pickens and it is not easy being a pregnant woman at Marshall Pickens. I just had my first visit, and I have to say, Dr. Walvoord is absolutely incredible! The entire team made me feel so welcomed and genuinely cared for from the moment I walked in. I've never left a doctor's office feeling so uplifted — the nurse even gave me a hug goodbye and told me they were excited to see me again! I honestly just want to go back and hang out with them every day! I've finally found a place where I feel truly seen, heard, and supported in receiving the best women's healthcare. Thank you so much!
