This is a nice place. Very Victorian vibe perfect for a romantic or first date. Lunch menu is small but the food is great. I had the diner burger with kettle chips it was delicious. The fish sandwich was large and he said it was really good. Highly recommend for lunch. I will update once I go to dinner.
Went there on a Tuesday night and place was close to empty. I ordered the Porterhouse Pork Chop. It was pretty good. Very smokey taste which was ok but the 2nd most prominent flavor was salt. Pork wasn't moist at all. Just ok overall. My wife ordered the Norwegian Salmon Cake and she really enjoyed it.
We were looking for a place to eat that stayed open late, with patio seating, as we had a hotel change that had a closed pool and no breakfast but advertised having both online, which delayed dinner. I hadn't had time to look at the menu online yet, because the first restaurant we picked didn't have patio seating, even though it came up under that search. We were in downtown Springfield at an appointment and decided to get lunch here. The store is decorated very nicely inside. There is a modern contemporary design with a choice of booths or tables. We were met at the front station by the host and shown to our booth. The seats were comfortable. The wait staff arrived quickly to show us the menus and explain specials, and take our drink orders. Went here for our first date. Came back for my birthday 4 years later and we are now married. Quiet spot, tasty food. The cooks were very accommodating to my diet. I was, at the time, a vegetarian.
