If you want a dentist who is empathetic and professional, Dr. Stein is probably not your man. At my last appt. he didn't give me enough anesthetic. He hit a nerve and I jumped. You wouldn't think a request for additional medication would be necessary, but he didn't even offer to give me more. When I asked him, he grumbled under his breath and gave me another shot and continued with my fillings without incident. Dr. Stein was fantastic! I just had my first ever implant put in by a great oral surgeon and Dr. Stein finished it off perfectly with a beautiful well fitting crown! He was so kind and took the time to show me on a model how the implant works with the abutment and crown. I so appreciated him showing me how that all comes together. I also had a cleaning done a couple weeks ago by his hygienist Jen and she too was kind and competent as well as his office manager Liz.
