Once again I have a problem with Public Works. They charge what seems to me an unconscionable rate, charging me extra because I live in an unincorporated area a block and a half from Steilacoom and once again, I got a disconnect notice. I mailed out my bills 9 days ago and again this is the only one which has not posted through my bank. We’ve lived here for 17 years, have never had a problem paying our bill nor have we had a problem with our service. Our issue is with the bazaar and unnecessarily rude staff. It’s been a mystery and somewhat of a source of hilarity how consistently miserable these employees seem to be. This began long before Covid and I suspect it will continue long after. This is a company we certainly won’t miss when we leave.
