Dr. Stier was the best rheumatologist in NM. He is intelligent, kind, patient. He knows from his own personal experience how horrible this disease is. He takes time to listen even if you just cry due to the pain. I miss him. If anyone knows why he left NM Rheumatology and knows where he went, it would be so helpful to his former patients of many years. You are missed Dr. Stier
I called the office to see if I could get in to see someone about the arthritis. I have on the only hand that I have due to a birth defect. And I was told that they pick and choose who they will see if they get a referral. And the papers or whatever doesn't meet their standards they won't even schedule you
I was referred to Dr. Steier through NMCC. Originally I had an in-person appointment scheduled with Dr. Steier which took 6 months to get. I was called the day before to say he wasn’t coming in but I could come in for a telehealth visit. I was disappointed since this was a first visit. I waited over two hours for the technology to work for the telehealth visit. He was very friendly, patient, informative and knowledgeable. It seemed he truly cared.
