As a recommended Aluminium Window & Door installer in the Illawarra area and a Licensed Carpenter & Joiner( 29 years and going), , I would highly recommend trying out other company's in the area. Ive dealt with numerous company's over 20 years and find Stegbar to be one of the worst amongst the bunch. Its the only Window and door company ive ever been associated with, that truly disgusted me in their customer service , behaviour, their 2 faced staff and the ability to fix issues of their own making. Customer service is miserable. I felt they had no interest to be helpful. I won't go back!
Spent $30000.00 on double glazed, folding doors. Shortly after installation the doors started to get a cloudy look on some of the glass panels. I thought it was just the cold weather. So didn't do anything. It continued to worsen and spread to all the doors. I sent emails to the sales rep that sold me the doors. I heard nothing back. I rang him and he gave me his new email address and asked me to photograph the windows that needed to be replaced. I did this and sent the photos off to him. My mum had some stained glass windows that had perished over time and wanted something old style to fit in with her house. Stegbar went above and beyond to make sure she got what she wanted. The windows look fantastic and match in perfectly. We are now using their services for more renovations.
