I was very pleased with my first appointment with Dr. Steen. I rarely do on-line reviews; I only do them if someone was exceptional or extremely poor. I felt like Dr. Steen and her staff were exceptional. I was referred to Dr. Steen through an associate of a friend, who is in the neurology field. I don’t think I was Dr. Steen’s typical patient, however, she and her staff could not have made me feel more welcomed. Appreciate her experience and the availability of medical trials. Dealing with Alzheimer’s in a parent situation is very difficult and honestly, there is no good outcome. However, Dr Steen’s knowledge and careful explanations of our options have been extremely helpful.

Dr. Steen and her nurses do not explain much of anything about follow-up care. They do not return calls for up to 3-5 days. They have written prescriptions without consulting my medical history and don't seem to follow-up on ordered additional tests. A first visit was easy to get, the next follow up appt time was three months later. Very poor patient instructions and follow-up care.
