Met with Steel Structures in 2020 re barn options, rep was great, best I've worked with. Signed a contract in 2021, began working schedules and Nov they dropped materials. Early Dec construction began, crew asked about weekends, we told them any day/time. They never worked a weekend and often no show on weekdays. The crew ran extension cords from my front porch, later figured out the run was too long, needed something closer or said I might have to rent a generator, might be cheaper to buy. First...We have a 2 year old 24x40 garage that has served us perfectly with no problems.A continued 5 star review !!!Currently finishing up a 2nd project without flaw.A second 5 star review!!!We are in ******** and ************************* has overseen both projects.Highly recommend Steel Structures America for any steel building project.I am a contractor and the last couple years have been harder than normal for any building project.Be patient and they will take care of you.************

Dishonest, poor integrity, whatever; read the negative reviews and you’ll see the same themes repeated constantly.What I am truly grateful for is to have found out the poor character of these people early on, losing only hundreds of dollars and not thousands. The pity here is that there are decent people working for the company at the grunt level, trying to make up for the shortcomings of those above. We had steel structures America put us up a 30 x40 x14 building! Thoes guys did a great job! Amazing how they put those trusses up! We bought our building out of the sagel Idaho sales office! They have a great salesman there! Call them , ask for Jess, tell him that Greg refered them! We are very satisfied with our new building! And you will be to!

Excellent company to work with. We had a building from them 15+ years ago and we are in need of another building and are confident that they will again provide us with a building that exceeds our expectations. The crew (sub contractors) were professional and did an excellent job completing the project on time. They cleaned up the site prior to leaving. The building stands today with no issues. EVER!!! Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

I had Steel Structures America, Inc, do a 30 x 40 Garage for me in late 2019 / early 2020. The Work was done correctly and the end product was good. The problem is that we had excessive rock which as we all knew, was going to need extra work. For that work they try to charge me $3,650.92. That total was way out of line, Double the Labor actually spent, small half day overcharge for rental equipment and about four extra yards of Concrete used due to holes being way to large 3 to 4.5 feet in size, where their own specs stated ... read more

We had ordered a 30x40 garage/shop in October of 2016. We were hoping that we could have it finished by Christmas, but a record-breaking winter hit us hard delaying deliveries and concrete pour. Obviously, this was not the fault of the company. They kept in contact with us about any issues. They even provided a snow plow at their expense to help the contractors get onto the site. We are still sitting on an empty barn pad with the barn pieces scattered around the property. We signed papers May 15th, and have been anxiously awaiting for the crew to show up to no avail. I would like to put hay up (hence wanting a barn) but am unable to as there is no barn. We will never recommend SSA to anyone that we care about.
